I've only seen one cougar, in a situation that was so incongruous, on the grounds of another winery up here in Calaveras County. It was 10 in the morning and I was just hanging out waiting for a meeting - "wow, that dog sure is big, and it sure is walking funny..." Another time in the trees behind one of our vineyards. A deer runs into the trees, a great rustling of leaves, a snarling sound, then silence.... I'm glad you and Phil were big...;-) hi Russ - it’s posts like this that keep us all coming back!
