But seriously, I have to wonder at algorithms that tag certain words without also taking context into account. Your mention of breast cancer certainly illustrates this point.

I mean really: can these programs tell the difference between “walking abreast on the trail” and “walking a breast on the trail”?

Hi Russ:
I tried it as well and I barely got into the “G” category. I used the word “breast” in my post on RosÃ© and it told me I had used it 3 times. At first I thought “what are they talking about?” and then I realized I had discussed Riedel’s new RosÃ© glass and Riedel’s kind offer to donate part of the sales revenue to “Living Beyond Breast Cancer” I hope I don’t get you into trouble with you rating using that word. After all you have already used the word “sh..” a couple of times now.

Made me day. I checked my rating. I’m G, too, despite the fact that I used the word “crack” once (as in “crack open a bottle of.” Wonder how many times I need to say that before I get bumped to PG13?
