Don’t laugh. Wine doggy bags are sweeping the country with more than 40 states passing laws allowing unfinished bottles of wine to be taken home. If you’d like a sample of our wine doggy bag, endorsed by many restaurant associations and used to assist in passing wine doggy bag laws, just visit our website at http://www.winedoggybag.com.

But…but…laughing is GOOD! Almost as good as wine!!
But seriously, there should never be an unspoken obligation to finish a bottle of wine before leaving a restaurant just becuase it is expensive or if one has had enough to drink. With the typical charge for a bottle of wine at a restaurant, plus any corkage fees, leaving a good bottle on the table is more of a violation, to my mind, than to be “caught” driving home with it.
As in all things, moderation is key. That, and making sure you know the law. The winedoggybag.com site is indeed enlightening.

More and more restaurants are seeing the value of having wine doggy bags available. Patrons are truly drinking more responsibly, enjoying their wine well after their dinner. We even have consumers purchasing them as gifts for their wine or restaurant loving friends. Some even have us print their names on the bags.
